Gorgeous views of the villages and vineyards of the Minervois, the gentle slopes of the Corbières and the contours of the Pyrenees. La Livinière is known for its excellent wines. There is also a Brasserie and a cosy restaurant, where regular live music is performed in the high season. In the village of Olonzac is weekly on Tuesday, regional market and there are several shops, a post office, tennis courts and terraces. Homps is a small harbour town on the idyllic Canal de Midi, on which you can make a boat trip or along the canal for cycling (bike rental). At 7 km is Lac de Jouarres, a fresh water lake with sunbathing areas and forest, ideal for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and pedal boating. Within 60 minutes there are several beautiful, not too crowded beaches such as Gruissan-Plage and Narbonne-Plage
Interior:
La Pirouette is an attractive villa with spacious living room (50 m 2), high beamed ceiling and sliding doors to large covered terrace (40 m 2) focused on the South with furniture, stone barbecue and access to spacious rear garden with private pool. Comfortably furnished, warm lighting and fully-equipped modern open kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms with wardrobe, one with access to the covered terrace. Two bedrooms have single beds (90 x 200) and one bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200). There are two bathrooms, one large with bathtub, shower stall, double sink, and toilet. The second bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and second refrigerator. The airco hangs in the main hall, there is underfloor heating on gas and a wood-burning stove. The villa has mosquito nets on the Windows.
Outside the house:
The villa is located on a large plot of 2400 m² with Mediterranean planting The nice, large pool (5x10m) has an easy Roman walk-in stairs. The surrounding terraces provide optimal privacy and come with sun loungers with cushions, seating areas and parasols. The children’s pool is 3 x 3 m and 40 cm deep. The water is heated with solar collectors, making it possible to also enjoy the pool longer off season (if there is no or less Sun, this solar heating does not work!). The stone BBQ and the beautiful garden and pool lights are perfect for long lounging on the veranda. This is also equipped with an electric beam heating, great for the cooler evenings. There is a spacious carport where you can park your car in the shade.
