The lively village offers especially in the summer months many activities in the field of culture, such as concerts and slide-on buffets at the Abbey. Carcassonne with its world famous medieval upper town (La Cité) is just a 20-minute drive away. There are also many trips to do such as: Narbonne, Minerve and the Canal du Midi. From Caunes Minervois you drive directly through the Valley of the Montagne Noir, a beautiful nature reserve, where you can also visit some caves. The beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are just over an hour’s drive away.
